Ingredients
  

Sausage and Vegetables

  • 1 package precooked chicken sausage 5 sausages
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 0.5 medium yellow onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill optional for serving

Cooking Instructions

  • Cut the chicken sausages into ½ inch rounds. Slice both bell peppers and ½ onion thinly.
  • In a large bowl, add sliced sausage, peppers and onions. Add 2 tablespoon olive oil, ½ teaspoon paprika and ¼ teaspoon garlic powder. Toss to coat the ingredients.
  • In a preheated air fryer basket, add the sausage and vegetables. Air fryer for 10 minutes, giving it a sit or shake half way through the cooking time. If you like the veggies more browned, cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Notes

Chicken sausage itself makes the dish perfectly seasoned for my taste. Optionally, you can add extra salt or other seasonings to the veggies. The ingredients can overlapped but do not overcrowd the basket. If you have smaller air fryer, you can cook it in batches.
