  • 1 cup butter, softened and slightly melted Approximately 227 g
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Approximately 118 g
  • 2 cups all purpose flour Approximately 256 g

Cookie Preparation Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line 2 large baking sheets with silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add butter and sugar. Cream at highest speed for about 5 minutes or until light and fluffy.
  • Add in the flour. Mix at low speed and then gradually increase speed until dough forms.
  • Add dough to a piping bag fitted with a large open star tip and pipe cookies 1 inch apart.
  • Chill piped cookies in the fridge for 30 minutes to prevent spreading.
  • Bake cookies for about 15-20 minutes until edges turn light brown, then let cool.

Notes

For best results, bake one tray at a time and ensure butter is very soft but slightly melted. Alternative shaping methods include forming balls or flattening dough into discs.
