  • Grate the ginger and set aside. Squeeze and strain the lemon juice.
  • In a clean glass jar or bowl, combine honey, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice. Stir well until fully blended.
  • Add the grated ginger and cayenne pepper to the mixture. Stir to combine thoroughly.
  • Store the syrup in a glass jar in the refrigerator. It will keep for 2 to 3 months.

Notes

Warm a spoonful before use for added soothing effect. Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for best results. Maple syrup can replace honey, and orange or grapefruit juice can replace lemon as substitutes.
