Bun and Fillings

  • 4 pieces kaiser buns sliced in half widthwise
  • 1 cup arugula leaves
  • 4 slices aged cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup creamy horseradish sauce see recipe link
  • 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
  • 0.5 cup micro greens optional
  • 4 pieces thinly sliced radishes
  • 0.5 pieces red onion peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 piece tomato thinly sliced

Instructions
 

Sandwich Assembly

  • If you are slicing the roast beef yourself, use a very sharp knife, mandolin, or meat slicer.
  • Start by adding your lettuce to the bottom bun.
  • Next, place on your cheese and then the sauce to protect the bun from getting soggy.
  • Stack on the sliced roast beef.
  • Add an optional micro greens.
  • Place on the sliced radishes and onions.
  • Lastly, place on the sliced tomatoes and then the top bun. Serve.

Notes

If all ingredients are kept separate, the sandwich can be prepared up to 2 days ahead of time. Store ingredients separately covered in plastic wrap for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.
